UPDATE 06/19/09:
Modified TweetScanner to display 4 lines of text. TweetScanner is now capable of displaying entire tweets, but long urls may still prevent this. This brings TweetScanner to version 1.1.
Updated preview image to reflect changes.
Future planned updates include more icons, a black version, as well as direct profile access. Direct access will require entering account name and password, but will allow TweetScanner to display favorite and reply to links next to tweets, a list of latest tweets from the user homepage, and other capabilities only possible with direct access.
Direct access should make TweetScanner a far more comprehensive Rainmeter solution for Twitter; however, submitting new updates to your own profile via a TweetScanner interface still will not be possible. Changed the name and made some minor changes/fixes.
The TweetScanner Rainmeter skin is designed to display the latest Tweet of a select number of specified users. It is designed to work with Rainmeter 0.14 on Windows XP/Vista/7.

Yeah, I've spent all day trying to get it to work with specific facebook friends. If got a working url ursing friends lists including only one friend per list and it diplays correctly in a normal rss reader application but not in tweetscanner
